In honor of National Feral Cat Day, enjoy the film following the thousands of cats roaming the metropolis of Istanbul. Bring food donations and cash to benefit Street Cat Hub.

FlyerBoofy's Best for Pets presents a special screening of the documentary film KEDI in honor of National Feral Cat Day! The event is a benefit for Street Cat Hub, so please bring donations (cash, gift cards, canned cat food, dry cat food, old towels, etc.) to help the street cats of Albuquerque. Stick around for a post-show discussion about the work being done by Street Cat Hub in our community.

KEDI is not a documentary about house cats or the strays you occasionally see in your backyard. KEDI is a film about the hundreds of thousands of cats who have roamed the metropolis of Istanbul freely for thousands of years, wandering in and out of people’s lives, impacting them in ways only an animal who lives between the worlds of the wild and the tamed can. Cats and their kittens bring joy and purpose to those they choose, giving people an opportunity to reflect on life and their place in it. In Istanbul, cats are the mirrors to ourselves.

“Splendidly graceful and quietly magical … Trust me: “Kedi” will make you a believer.” - Joe Leydon, Variety

“More than just another example of cute kittens on camera, Kedi bubbles over with charm and insight that millions of YouTube videos can't match.” - Sarah Ward, Screen International

“Yes, Kedi is an unashamed love letter to the compelling creatures at its centre, but, peppered with wisdom and warmth, it's also more than just the ultimate cat video. - Sarah Ward, ArtsHub
