Memories of Torreón, Genízaro Nation and Photo Organizing

Judy Alderete Garcia, editor and publisher of Memories Of Torreón, New Mexico will discuss her book which was written to preserve the unique culture, history and traditions of the people of the Manzano Mountains. It is also a way to educate others about the everchanging culture of New Mexicans.

Moises Gonzales is co-editor of the forthcoming book, Genízaro Nation:  Ethnogenesis, Place, and Identity in New Mexico (to be released by UNM Press in 2018).

Teri Winfield is a Certified Personal Photo Organizer who has a passion for photos and helping others preserve their family gems.  Teri will share some of her photo tips for the everyday home photographer and collector to get started preserving their own photos, albums, and more.
