A writing workshop seeking to re-establish our emotional connection to the mysteries of the planet through the exploration of the unconscious mind using images, symptoms, mythology, and the creative imagination. Our ancestors understood that we are part of nature and nature is part of us. This intersection is on display in mythic artifacts from ancient Greece to the west’s Bigfoot. Explore this symbiosis in our mythic narratives as we circle in nature, share ideas, and explore where our imaginations take us. Using images, myths, bodily movement, and writing exercises, participants will learn to hear what the earth is trying to tell us. No writing experience necessary.

The workshop takes place at Tingley Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Suggested donation: $10 per person; no one turned away for lack of funds. Cash/Check only day of the event. Rain cancels.
