Browse the work over 100 artists and designers working in cities throughout Africa. Traditional music and songs from Guinea, West Africa followed by traditional drum and dance. Runs through 5/6.

Wassa Dance & Drum Ensemble"Making Africa" features the work over 100 artists and designers working in cities throughout Africa today.

1 p.m. Ugochukwu-Smooth Nzewi, PhD, Curator of African Art at the Cleveland Museum of Art explores the historical roots and contemporary influences on artists working in Africa today.

1 - 2:30 p.m. Create an art project inspired by the exhibition in the Museum School.

2 - 3:30 p.m. Wassa Dance & Drum Ensemble

 

Enjoy traditional music and songs from Guinea, West Africa followed by traditional drum and dance.
