Know Your Meds
Relatively recently, an ancient web of neurotransmitters in our bodies that helps regulate a number of our cognitive and physiological processes was discovered by scientists. This web, known as the endocannabinoid system, can be directly manipulated through the use of cannabis. Join Rachel Furnari, RN, of Albuquerque Herbalism this Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Taylor Ranch Branch Library to discuss the common uses of cannabis as a medicine and how it works within the endocannabinoid system. This free learning opportunity begins at 6pm.
