The Humanities And Technology Camp (THATCamp) is a one-day “un-conference” where humanists come together with technologists to brainstorm, problem-solve, play, and teach each other. We’re expecting teachers, students, historians, makers, programmers, inventors, and entrepreneurs, just to name a few.

But what is THATCamp?

    • It's collaborative: there are no spectators at a THATCamp. Everyone participates, including in the task of setting an agenda or program.

    • It's informal: there are no lengthy proposals, papers, presentations, or product demos. The emphasis is on productive, collegial work or free-form discussion.

    • It's spontaneous and timely, with the program being mostly or entirely created by all the participants during the first session.

    • It's productive: participants are encouraged to use session time to create, build, write, hack, and solve problems.

The central New Mexico conference will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Domenici Education Building of the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.The $25 registration fee includes lunch and a t-shirt. Scholarships are available. For more information and to register:
