Second Annual People's Rally
Who Doesn’t Want Some Progress?
For the second year in a row, the Progressive Coalition of New Mexico hosts the People’s Rally at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe. This free event on Monday, Feb. 5, aims to bring progressive voters and organizations together to rally, educate and demand progress. From 8:30am to noon there are organized tours of the Roundhouse, followed by a rally featuring speakers and live music. This is a good opportunity for kids to learn some about how the legislative process affects them (and how they can affect the legislative process, too). (Robin Babb)
