Home Opening Reception

Local artists present the results of experimental mosaic techniques featuring stained glass, fused glass, cast glass, glass tile, kiln formed ceramics, ceramic and porcelain tile and more. Runs through 4/20.

“Home” might mean the earth, a garden, the inner self, a house, a road, or the universe; it isn’t necessarily limited to a physical structure. Nine artists from the Mosaic New Mexico group explore the concept of “Home” through their work for this exhibit at Oasis. Artists include: Barb Belknap, Jill Gatwood, Erica Hoverter, Caroline LeBlanc, Ginger Quinn, Marina Rabinowitz, Laura Robbins, Terry Storch, and Erica Wendel-Oglesby.

Mosaic New Mexico is a diverse group of New Mexico mosaic artists exploring mosaic techniques. These include but are not limited to: stained glass, fused glass, cast glass, glass tile, kiln formed ceramics, ceramic and porcelain tile, found objects on sculpture and wall pieces.
