Chorus Rehearsal

The adult Kol Simkah Chorus group and the kids' Teruah choir practice World, jazz, classical, Broadway, folk, liturgical and pop music with a Jewish flare to them.

Kol Simkah Chorus (adult) and Teruah!(K-8) are amateur choral groups with a musical repertoire drawn from the heritage of the Jewish people throughout the ages. Come join us and sing world, jazz,classical,Broadway, folk, liturgical and pop music, each with a Jewish flare to them. Is it in Hebrew, Yiddish or Ladino? Was it written by a Jewish composer? Does it deal with Jewish themes? Can you sing it in a service? These things are just some of what determines our repertoire.

Kids rehearsal-6:00-6:50

Adult rehearsal-7:00-9:00

Every Wednesday

All are welcome to join Kol Simcha (‘voices of joy’) and Teruah!(joyful shout) JCC Membership not required. You don't even need to be Jewish. There is NO audition and NO experience required, just the desire to sing in a chorus and the commitment to come to rehearsals.
