Twelve artists show 2d work, pottery, hanging sculpture and book arts.

Luna Project, a group of 12 artists exhibiting since 2003, hosts a new exhibit “Edge Effect” at the Open Space Visitor Center Gallery. The show includes 2d work, pottery, hanging sculpture and book arts and runs through March. YoYo Ma describes it as the place where innovation happens and in the environment it is he influence that two ecological communities have on each other along the boundary that separates them. In this exhibit, each Luna Project artist explores an area of “Edge Effect” in an Albuquerque Open Space Lands property and responds. The Luna Project artists are Ruth Cohen, Lauri Dickinson, Mary Dornacker, Cate Eaves, Nance Elsinger, Marta Light, Joani Murphy, Margy O’Brien, Nancy Rutland, Phyllis Benia Salazar, Kris Thacher and Alice Webb. Their website is www.thelunaproject.org. The gallery is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and closed Mondays. Call 897-8831 for more information or visit www.cabq.gov/openspace.
