An interactive game show where three storytellers tell two true stories and one fake story and the audience votes to determine the liar.

The second Monday of every month, Barry Simon in association with Empire Board Game Library presents THE LIARS’ GAME, an interactive game show. On February 12th, three storytellers will spin tales about “Life Changing Events.” But one is lying. Can you tell who it is? Ask questions. Then vote. Finally, the real liar is revealed. Did you get it right? Usually, most of the audience is wrong. Can you beat the odds?

THE LIARS’ GAME starts at 7 pm. Admission is $5 at the door only (bring cash, please). Doors open at 5:30 pm. We have sold out in the past. So come early to get a seat. Fabulous food, delicious deserts and thirst quenching non-alcoholic beverages are also available. In other words, make it an evening.

Empire Board Game Library is located at 3503 Central NE in Nob Hill. For more information call (505) 227-7378 or contact Empire at (505) 232-4263 or email at

Plus, mark your calendar for Saturday, February 24th, at O’Niell’s Pub on Central at 8 pm: THE DIRTY LIARS’ GAME, an adult interactive version of our popular game show will have stories about “There’s A First Time for Everything.” Remember your first ______(fill in the blank)? And you can order food and booze. It’s the perfect date night: cheap, fun and little naughty.
