Santa Fe Community College Celebrates Black History Month with the two-day event “Shades of Color” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tues. and Wed., Feb. 20 and 21, in the Jemez Rooms at 6401 Richards Ave. Special guest speakers include writer and genealogist George Geder who will present a multi-media overview of Black history on Tues., Feb. 20; and UNM professor of Africana Studies, Jamal Martin, Ph.D. discusses the Black experience in contemporary America on Wed., Feb. 21.
