A lecture on studies of religion in the Americas, Mexican American religion, healing, and cross-cultural religious change.

Brett Hendrickson is an associate professor of religious studies at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.  He studies religion in the Americas, Mexican American religion, healing, and cross-cultural religious change. He is especially interested in Latino popular religious devotions, the history of religion in the U.S. Southwest, religion and healing, and religion in public life.

This lecture is part of the Spring 2018 People and Places series organized by the University Libraries Center for Southwest Research & Special Collections. All events are free and open to the public.
