Zuni Pueblo ArtWalk

A Walk Around the Pueblo

artist Rosanne Ghahate

This Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18, Zuni Pueblo artists of all stripes—from silversmiths to fetish carvers, to ceramics artists and everything in-between—open the doors of their studios for the annual Zuni Pueblo ArtWalk. The pueblo's leaders pointed out that, while the work of their creatives is well-known, not many people are familiar with the stories of these gifted artisans. The ArtWalk aims to introduce the pueblo's artists and other community members to visitors. Both days, swing by between 10am and 5pm to meet artists and purchase unique pieces. The ArtWalk starts at the visitor's center, and a free shuttle ferries passengers from place to place.
