Musica Antigua de Albuquerque

Música Antigua de Albuquerque will perform “What Halley Heard,” a concert of music heard by Halley’s Comet on the occasion of its periodic appearances in the Middle Ages & Renaissance.  The program will highlight works from 1066 to 1682.  The musicians will perform both vocal and instrumental works, using period instruments, including violas da gamba, gemshorn, vielles, rebec, sackbut, recorders, shawm, cornemusen, crumhorns, harp, harpsichord, hurdy gurdy, portative organ and lute.
