The Sine Nomine Singers are comprised of thirty-two singers based in Valdosta,Georgia. Membership is by invitation only. The SNS perform a variety of choral literature including Renaissance motets to the music of contemporary composers. They rehearse for one-hour once a week.

The involvement of the Singers is predicated on a passion for singing and a willingness to work together to create an excellent ensemble.

SNS was organized in the fall of 2008. The Founder and Director is David Lee Johnson, Professor Emeritus Valdosta State University.

SNS performs three-four concerts per year in Valdosta and in the region. Performances have taken place in Homerville, Lakeland, Tifton, Waycross, Thomasville, St Simons Island and for the Advent Christian Center, Dowling Park Fl. In 2010 the SNS made their first international tour singing in Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo and Conchiano, Italy. A second international tour was taken to Poland June 1-8 2012. May 30-June 6 of 2015 the SNS took a third international tour to Scotland giving concerts in Edinburgh, St. Andrews and Crieff. By invitation the SNS performed in the historic St. Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh.
