Auditionees should prepare a 1-2 minute song showing vocal range and bring sheet music in a binder for the accompanist. Note that all roles require strong acting, singing and movement.

About the show: The story is based also on Federico Fellini’s semi-autobiographical film, 8½. It focuses on film director Guido Contini, who is dreading his imminent Birthday and facing a midlife crisis, which is blocking his creative impulses and entangling him in a web of relationships of the most influential women of his life; both past and present. The action is set both in his mind, through memories, and at venues throughout early 1960’s Italy.

Roles: 2 M (1 boy 8-12, 1 adult male 40-50); 15 F (various ages) Please note that all roles require strong acting, singing, and movement. (We encourage all to audition regardless of skill/training level.)
