Workshop by Matt Celeskey, Artist

Many techniques Leonardo Da Vinci used in his notebooks are still used today by science illustrators. Starting in the Da Vinci: the Genius exhibition, we will examine how Da Vinci combined careful observation, scientific understanding, and artistic creativity to create works that are still relevant centuries later. We will then experiment with these techniques to draw objects from the Museum's exhibits and collections. Supplies will be provided.

Cost $50 ($45 for members). Cost includes admission to Da Vinci: The Genius exhibit the day of the workshop. For adults and students age 10 and above. Preregistration is required. Go to
