Do all the hard work of creating a short story, including editing and submit it to Kindle.

FlyerStarts Friday night and ends on Sunday. The idea? Do all the hard work of creating a short story, including editing, and submit it to Kindle. So we can try to make some money off of our great creativity!

Friday night: Idea creation

Saturday: All day of writing, editing, reviewing each other's work. I'm also hiring several editors to be on hand to edit grammar. And, I'll show you how to use Canva, or hire one of several graphic designers willing to take on a cover in 24 hours.

Sunday: We'll eat cake, publish to Amazon (and/or contests that I'll share with you).

The Write Moves

Aspiring writer? Your inspiration has arrived. Beginning this Friday, June 22, Plot Duckies (a local creative writing-centric business owned and operated by author Sonja Dewing) hosts a Short Story-A-Thon. Over the course of the weekend-long event—that is, Friday evening, Saturday, June, 23 and Sunday, June 24 at FatPipe ABQ (200 Broadway Blvd. NE)—Dewing will coach writers from brainstorming plot to publishing the piece on Amazon. Designed for the creative that wants to get things done, this workshop will offer not just motivation, but tangible take-aways. Tickets for a single session start around $12. Details can be found at
