Glider Contest at Balloon Fiesta Park August 25-26 Saturday and Sunday. Free Event.  Third Annual Buzz Averill Memorial F5J Soaring Classic hosted by the Albuquerque Soaring Association. Watch top pilots from the region compete for 1st place on the F5J USA tour.  Flying high performance radio control gliders, attempt to stay aloft for 10 minutes and land on the target. Rounds flown every 20 minutes from 9AM – 3PM. North parking lot access.
