In this half day program boys and girls ages 8 to 14 learn to improve their softball skills with individual instruction in both hitting fielding and baseball strategy.
A comprehensive softball training experience for boys and girls ages 8-14 connecting youth and elders part of the One ABQ Challenge.
In this half day program boys and girls ages 8-14 will learn to improve their softball skills with individual instruction in both hitting fielding and baseball strategy. Your coaches will be active players from the Southwest Tournament Champions Duke City Dynamite as well as members of the Albuquerque Silver Gloves Womens Softball League with more than 50 years of experience for each player.
Additionally, you will learn:.
- How to stretch before a game to warm up your muscles and prevent injuries
- What to eat before and during a game to increase your energy
- How to develop the proper mindset so you can perform your best and enjoy the experience
The instruction will be followed by an abbreviated game to put your new skills into action
Following the game lunch and snacks will be served to parents and participants.
Participants should be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring your glove, bat and athletic shoes. Limited to 50 participants
