A conversation of John Knowles’s novel as part of PBS’s The Great American Read.

This summer and fall, Esther Bone Memorial Library will host monthly book discussions to accompany PBS’s The Great American Read. On Thursday, August 16, 10 am, join the conversation of John Knowles’s novel, A Separate Peace. This coming-of-age story set in a boarding school during World War I explores the theme of Who Am I? Programming for The Great American Read is offered as part of a grant from the American Library Association and PBS.
