An afternoon designed to bring together youth and elders in the community. Bring a chess set and learn game strategy from coach Rod Avery.

It’s an intergenerational chess event!

As part of our mayor’s One ABQ Challenge initiative #ThisIsABQ, we’re hosting an afternoon of fun designed to bring together the youth and elders in our community. Bring a chess set and learn game strategy from coach Rod Avery. Kids, bring your grandparents or other elders you know. Seniors, bring the young people in your lives and create some wonderful memories and learn something new together. No registration required.
