People always say to “get involved” but it’s not always clear what that means. Come find out on Thursday, August 16th with the New Mexico Wildlife Federation and Artemis for a training that will teach you how to be an effective advocate for the land and wildlife you care about.

We’ll cover wildlife and public lands issues and help you learn how to communicate with decision makers and journalists, how to stay informed about the issues you care about, how to effectively use social media, how to speak at a public meeting or public hearing and the basics of engaging others to join you in your advocacy.

This event will be held at Bow and Arrow in Albuquerque from 6 – 8 pm.
