For the first time ever, Jemez Springs is hosting the 'I Heart (emoji) Jemez Art' Fest, celebrating the art and artists of the Jemez Valley. The free outdoor festival will give art lovers a chance to meet artists and watch demonstrations, and includes arts vendors, music, children's area and more. Galleries that are participating are Jemez Fine Art Gallery, Jemez Artisans Gallery, Shangri La Gallery, Jemez mountain Pottery and Sculpture and artists whose work is displayed in galleries outside of Jemez. Artists include Raymond Sandoval, Jules Giessing Gurley, Karen Garcia from the Jemez Historic Site, Ed Samuels whose work is displayed at Canon del Rio, Cecile Poletti, Monique Ortega, Llani Mraz, Robin Dee, Shelley Heinley and more.
