A two-day festival featuring the best blues around.
New Mexico Jazz Workshop, in partnership with Ultra Health, announces the upcoming Land of Enchantment Blues Festival—an exciting two-day event that will showcase the very best blues musicians from New Mexico and from top blues centers across the nation—on September 29th and 30th.
Taking place at Loretto Park in Bernalillo, the two-day festival will kick off at noon on Saturday, September 29th, with doors opening at 11am. The show will open with a two-hour blues jam featuring over 20 of New Mexico’s best blues musicians, followed by The Plateros (featuring Levi Platero), Mem Shannon (with a local back-up band), and John Németh.
On Sunday, September 30th, the festival continues at 1pm with doors opening at noon. Sunday’s show features Santa Fe’s Blues Revue Band, Billy D & the HooDoos, Joanna Connor (with a local back-up band), and Hillary Smith/Chill House.
Along with a star-packed lineup, the festival will feature food trucks, local beer and wine, arts and crafts, and fun for the entire family.
Advance tickets are $20 ($15 for New Mexico Jazz Workshop members), and day-of tickets are $25 ($20 for New Mexico JazzWorkshop members). Two-day passes are available for $35 in advance and $40 at the door ($30 for New Mexico Jazz Workshop members). Admission for children 12 and under is free.
