Join the NAACP and the City of Albuquerque this Friday, Sept. 14, for the 4th annual Civil Rights and Diversity Conference at the Sheraton Uptown. On the slate for this day-long conference are panels on immigration and the role of women and clergy in today's social movements. Key note addresses are delivered by Deb Haaland, Janice Arnold-Jones, Michelle Lujan-Grisham and Steven Pierce. Attendance to the full day of events, 9am to 3pm, is $40. Register at naacpabq.org.
