¡Globalquerque!, the yearly, now traditional Burque event highlighting a world of music, art, education and performance returns for its inimitable autumn reign right here in Albuquerque on Friday Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. This year's music selection is sure to be both heady and intensely entertaining with sets from notables the worldover. From Nuevo Mexicano legend Antonia Apodaca and Taoseños the Lluvia Negra Band to Ecuadorans Rio Mira and Egypt's Youssra El Hawary, this years local global music festival also includes films, workshops and marketplace that draws on a plethora of vibrant, living human cultures. At ¡Globalquerque! you can find your place in the world right here in the Duke City. The all day and evening series of events is meant for all-ages, and festival tickets begin at $32, with discounts for 2-day passes and children under 15. This year’s festival brings three stages of music from five continents over two nights with educational workshops, activities and performances.

¡Globalquerque!, New Mexico’s 14th Annual World Music & Culture Celebration returns to the National Hispanic Cultural Center on September 21 and 22, 2018. This year’s festival will bring three stages of music from five continents over two nights. Relax in the intimate courtyard setting of the Fountain Stage, enjoy larger bands in the state-of-the-art 691-seat Journal Theater, or dance to groove heavy world music on the plaza’s outdoor Festival Stage. The National Hispanic Cultural Center is located at 1701 Fourth Street SW in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Global Fiesta is a free, fun-filled day packed with educational workshops, activities and performances created in collaboration with the NHCC’s Education Department and geared towards both children and adults.
