A three-day pop-up show featuring hundreds of the owner's grandmother's pantings destroyed by a flood.

This 3-day Pop-up show is brimming with unique, one of a kind art. Reception: Friday, October 12, 5:30-8:00 PM. Show continues Sat. and Sun. 11-4. Hundreds and hundreds of my grandmothers’ paintings were stored in the basement of her apartment for nearly 6 decades. All but these works on exhibit were destroyed, beyond repair from flood damage. We think that she created all of the work over a short period of time in the early 1960’s. I didn’t get to know Frances so this is an insightful show for me. Her self portraits reveal a combination of sadness and mystery, a world filled with fear, isolation and an underlying sense of urgency.
