Welcome to the inaugural “Magnificent Cider Festival” to be held on October 20th, 2018! showcasing New Mexico’s emerging artisanal cider industry in a truly unique environment. This festival will accentuate and amplify all the senses, from tasting local cider to pie eating, chuckwagon cooking, film screening, photography, and likely some two stepping or line dancing. It's more than a festival, it's magnificent!

Located near the Cerrillos Hills just outside of Santa Fe the J.W. Eaves Movie Ranch was constructed in the early 1960s to serve as the backdrop for both film and television productions. To date over 250 productions have filmed at this classic movie set including The Cheyenne Social Club, Chisum, Easy Rider, the 1960’s Magnificent Seven and the 2016 remake, and most recently the Cohen Brothers film and television series the Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

New Mexico Wine has round up seven hard cider producers, a cowboy chuck wagon cookout, western vendors and plenty of children’s activities to ensure a family friendly environment. Our music lineup includes some of New Mexico's favorite Country, Americana and Bluegrass musicians to set the tone for this classic western scenery.  Oct 20th also coincides with the 10th Annual Santa Fe Independent Film Festival and we invite all film buffs to tour the movie set.

There Were Only 700... tickets that is. Cowboys & Cowgirls $25, Young Guns $5.
