Trash … But Make It Fashion

You may think that getting trashed isn’t a good look on anyone, but Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy are going to prove you dead wrong on Sunday, Oct. 21 at their Urban Trash Recyclable Materials Hair and Fashion Show. This runway show puts the work of the academy’s students front and center, showing off their skills with a pair of scissors not just on the head, but in their clothing pieces repurposed from discarded material. The two hour show, starting at 5pm, costs $20 pre-sale, $25 at the door, and all of the cash generated benefits the Agora Crisis Center, offering emotional support, a hotline (505-277-3013 or 866-HELP-1-NM) and a listening ear for those in crisis.
