A celebration of conservation milestones that help protect N.M.’s outstanding natural resources, support unique cultural diversity and history and promote enjoyment and stewardship of public lands.
018 marks the 50th anniversary of the Wild and Scenic Rivers and National Trail System Acts – two federal laws that protect our special rivers and unique historic, scenic, and recreational trails.
Join us in ABQ for a celebration of these conservation milestones that help protect New Mexico’s outstanding natural and cultural resources, support our state’s unique cultural diversity and history, and promote public enjoyment and stewardship of public lands.
Festivities start Friday October 5 from 6 to 9pm at University of New Mexico’s Keller Hall.
