The series features writers in conversation with one another. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation.

Bookworks and the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation are collaborating on a new literary series, a Word with Writers, which will feature writers in conversation with one another. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Albuquerque Public Library Foundation.

 

Mira Jacob is the author of the critically acclaimed Noel, The Sleepwalker's Guide to Dancing, which was shortlisted for India's Tata Firts Literature Award, honored by APALA, and named one of the best books of 2014 by Kirkus Reviews, the Boston Glode, Goodreads, Bustle, and the Millions.

 

In conversation with Mira Jacob will be Kirstin Vladez Quade, whose fiction has appeared in the New Yorker, The Best American Short Stories, and elsewhere.

Night at the Fiestas, published in March 2015, is her first book
