How often are we honest? What does it even mean to be honest with ourselves and with others? Honesty, “the currency for connection,” is the theme of this month's CreativeMornings, ABQ chapter. This month, we are led by Ebony Isis Booth, poet and writer extraordinaire, founder of Burque Noir and Honeysuckle Creatives consultancy, and artist of many stripes. Booth's recent collection of poetry, Grinning & Bare, is proof positive that she has great wisdom to share on this topic. CreativeMornings is an international breakfast lecture series that is locally hosted at Richard Levy Gallery (514 Central Ave. SW) from 8:30 to 10am on Friday, Oct. 26. The event is free, but requires a registration to attend. Head to creativemornings.com/talks/ebony-isis-booth to add your name to the list.
