School performance at 10 am on Friday

Yjastros 33 is a flamenco epic, featuring world premiere choreographic masterpieces set on Yjastros, The American Flamenco Repertory Company by visiting Spanish artists during their residencies in the University of New Mexico’s Dance Program, with live accompaniment by a flamenco cantaor (singer), guitarrista (guitarist), and percusionista (percussionist).. It highlights both tradition and innovation in the world of flamenco, with work created by artists at the global forefront of the art form. The production exemplifies Yjastros’ identity as both a culturally authentic disseminator of Spanish/Andalusian flamenco and a uniquely American flamenco repertory company.
