Count the cranes passing overhead and map their migration. Learn about what adaptions allow birds to fly as well as how feathers and hollow bird bones work. Also make a feeder to take home.

Weekly crafts, outdoor activities and experiments will deepen your discovery of the world. Each week will have a unique craft that participants can take home. A new topic and activity awaits each week from noon – 5 p.m. at the Bachechi Environmental Education Building. In November, enjoy Birding at Bachechi! Count the cranes passing overhead as we map their migration and learn about what adaptions allow birds to fly. Learn how feathers and how hollow bird bones work, and make a bird feeder to take home.
