Catherine Meng & Jon Davis are the second reading of a three-part series highlighting the poetry collaboration featured in Shelley Horton-Trippe's 'A Greater Sublime' exhibition at CCA. Please join us to hear these two incredible voices read their work.

Catherine Meng is the author of Tonight’s The Night (Apostrophe Books) and The Longest Total Solar Eclipse of the Century (SplitLevel Texts). She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her family.

Jon Davis is the author of five chapbooks and five full-length poetry collections— Dangerous Amusements (Ontario Review, 1987), Scrimmage of Appetite (Akron, 1995), Preliminary Report (Copper Canyon, 2010), Heteronymy: An Anthology (LaNana Creek, 2016), and Improbable Creatures (Grid Books, 2017). Davis also co-translated Iraqi poet Naseer Hassan’s Dayplaces (Tebot Bach, 2017). He has received a Lannan Literary Award, the Lavan Prize, the Off the Grid Poetry Prize, and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. After teaching for 27 years, he founded and directed the MFA in Creative Writing at the Institute of American Indian Arts.
