Albuquerque Songwriter Melissa Rios Headlines the

Second Saturday Community CoffeeHouse on January 12th!

Melissa Rios is an Acoustic Soul and R&B singer/songwriter based in Albuquerque, NM. She is originally from Las Cruces, NM and has been playing music professionally for 12 years.

Melissa released her debut album of all original music, “Love & Time” in November 2016.  She has done studio work for other local songwriters and has been featured on KUNM-FM 89.9 show “Ear to the Ground” with Matthew Finch and “Roots of Indie” with Casey Mortensen, as well as the TAP to Music Podcast with Nick Johnson.

Opening for Melissa is Camille Grey, a singer-songwriter who is visiting us from her home in Denmark. Ms. Grey released her debut album "Gold'n'Blue" in 2013 where country tones met with piano tunes whereas the second album "Worry Ends Where Faith Begins" (2016) has a quirky electronic vibe and versatility of styles.

The mission of the Second Saturday Community CoffeeHouse is to provide the East Mountains with quality musical experiences in a family-style, listening-room environment. The events, along with snacks and beverages, are family friendly and free to the public. The House opens at 6 pm and the performance starts promptly at 6:30.
