A traveling, hands-on exhibit to raise awareness about the research program, which aims to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs.

On January 17 and 18, the New Mexico VA Health Care System will host the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Journey, a traveling, hands-on exhibit to raise awareness about the All of Us Research Program. All of Us aims to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. To do so, All of Us is asking 1 million volunteers to share different types of health and lifestyle information – information like where you live, what you do, and your family health history.

Albuquerque is one stop on the All of Us Journey’s national tour. The New Mexico VA Health Care System invites you to attend this event to learn more about the All of Us Research Program and how it could enable research to more precisely prevent and treat a variety of health conditions.

WHAT

The New Mexico VA Health Care System invites the Albuquerque community to visit the All of Us Journey and learn how you can help change the future of health.

WHEN

Thursday and Friday, January 17 and 18

9am – 4pm

WHERE

Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center

1501 San Pedro Drive, SE

Albuquerque, NM 87108

WHY

Unlike a single research study focused on a specific disease or community, the All of Us Research Program will create a research resource to inform thousands of studies, covering a wide range of health conditions. This information could help researchers better understand health differences and improve health for generations to come.

ABOUT THE NEW MEXICO VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
