Skip the handmade potholder this year, pack up your mother and head north to the village of Placitas for a Mother’s Day weekend filled with sculptors, painters, potters and all manner of your mom’s soon-to-be favorite artists at the 22nd Annual Placitas Studio Tour this Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12 from 10am to 5pm.
