From the dusty canteens of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Beloved weaves open-hearted tunes about time honored subjects of love, loss, and redemption on the open road. Fronted by husband/wife duo David Climaco and Nikelle Garcia, Beloved gives a nod to the great era of 70’s Laurel Canyon Folk-Country and is equally at home evoking Dylan’s Desire or Born to run era Springsteen; careening from Transformer Lou Reed to Mama Tried Merle. Sultry harmonies and soulful fiddle, combine with ghostly pedal steel and a rhythmic composite of rockabilly upright and hissing brushes. Every night with Beloved is journey down the mythic lost highways of America’s dream of itself. It’s heartland soul at it’s bitter sweetest.
