Bruce Dale

The Xeric Garden Club presents Bruce Dale, Conservation Chair for Central NM Audubon Society will present a comprehensive talk on ways to attract birds by giving them a variety of native plants, water and safe passage. He will speak about how native plants have evolved with native birds creating a symbiotic relationship and native plants provide four food groups for birds — berries and fruits, seeds, nectar and insects. He will speak about how birds look for cover for safety and shelter, so providing a multi-level habitat with flowers, shrubs, vines and trees attracts a variety of birds and in return creates a year round refuge in your garden for both birds and humans to enjoy. Piñon Room at the Garden Center.
