The ensemble, under the direction of Associate Professor Scott Ney, performs traditional, contemporary and traditional percussion music from Africa, Caribbean and Mexico.
The UNM Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Associate Professor Scott Ney, is made up of graduate and undergraduate music majors. The ensemble specializes in traditional and contemporary chamber percussion literature as well as traditional percussion music from Africa, Caribbean, and Mexico.
