The annual event that is eagerly anticipated each year, the Lumen Awards, an opportunity to honor those that assist in adult Christian faith formation in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. This year's Lumen Spiritus Sancti is being bestowed upon Friends of the Children of El Salvador [FOCES] for their work in supporting impoverished communities, especially children, by provding a means to access education. The Lumen Ecclesiae award is being bestowed upon Very Rev. John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, for his many years of service. Finally, this year's Lumen Gentium awardees will be presented to the community at the Lumen Awards, those individuals nominated by their colleagues, friends, and pastors.
