The 181-acre Preserve is located midway between Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico. Donated to the Archaeological Conservancy by the Project’s founder, Katherine Wells, it contains over 10,000 petroglyphs and is part of the largest petroglyph site in NM! Our docents lead visitors through an insightful two-hour tour of petroglyphs representing Archaic, Ancestral Puebloan and Historic Period time periods.
