Learn about this program that offers training for entry-level employment in a variety of industries, designed for individuals currently unemployed, underemployed or looking to increase their hire-ability.

PRO-TEC offers preparatory training for entry-level employment in a variety of industries and is designed for individuals who are currently unemployed, underemployed or looking to increase their hire-ability in Santa Fe County. Accepted participants will earn digital badges to verify their achievement (social media, IT, customer service and teamwork) through hands-on workshops and gain key job readiness skills in the 130 hour intensive training program starting on April 22. The classes are from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 22 through May 7. After the May 8 graduation, participants will intern with Santa Fe County businesses for 100 hours May 9 through June 14. Training scholarships and stipends are available to qualifying participants.

This is the fourth year for the program. PRO-TEC has served more than 65 Santa Fe County residents with an average 80 percent post-program employment rate.
