Secure Your ID Day: Free Shredding Event

This event allows the public to safely and securely shred their personal documents at no cost. All documents are shredded on-site in a safe and secure environment.

In honor of Secure Your ID Day, your local BBB is teaming up with Black Dog Shredding to bring you a FREE shredding event. Nowadays, identity theft is at an all-time high. Safely getting rid of your personal documents is so important. This free event allows the public to safely and securely shred their personal documents at no cost. It’s our mission to protect you against thieves that can potentially ruin your financial future. All documents are shredded on-site in a safe and secure environment.

Who is this event for?

Anybody and everybody who wants to get rid of their personal documents.

How much can I bring?

We will shred up to 2 bags or 2 medium-sized boxes of personal information for Free.

Do I have to register for this event?

Absolutely not, you can simply show up with your documents and we’ll shred them.

What are some benefits of having documents shredded?

In addition to protecting your identity, you get to help the environment. Last shred event, we shredded 5 tons of paper and saved 15 Cubic Yards of Landfill Space.

What documents should I shred?

You should bring your canceled and voided checks, pay stubs, credit card statements, bank statements, credit reports, tax forms, used airline tickets, medical records, Junk Mail and anything with a Social Security Number on it.
