“Bir kahvenin kırk yıl hatırı vardır,” a Turkish phrase that means “a cup of coffee has a 40-year memory,” might be a great way to set up the feel of Albuquerque Turkish Festival, happening on Saturday, April 20 from 11am to 7pm at Raindrop Foundation. The phrase essentially means you create a 40-year-long friendship with a person when you share a cup of Turkish coffee with them, which is one of the many things available to do at the event. Admission is free, and it’s all-ages, so if you want more information, email (Dan Rayne Pennington)
