Experience fine art from this Chiricahua Apache artist in a one-night-only show. Light refreshments served.


Join us for an evening celebrating the fantastic artistry of local artist Lynnette Haozous. Lynnette was one of the artists that created our stunning large scale mural and building facade featuring native flora and fauna to New Mexico.

We will have light refreshments for our guests. This show is one night only, Saturday April 27, 2019, from 5-9pm. 

Artist Bio: 

Lynnette Haozous is Chiricahua Apache(of the San Carlos Apache Tribe), Diné, and Taos Pueblo.

Haozous is a multi-medium artist, advocate, and teacher, blending art and advocacy to bring attention to the current social conditions and injustices of Indigenous People. Mediums include acrylics, watercolors, and spray paint.

Haozous has also been an art teacher at OffCenter Community Arts Project, and at Working Classroom Inc. both in Albuquerque,NM.

Haozous has received artist residencies through SWAIA, Nativo Lodge, Ute Mountain A.I.R., and more recently completed a residency at Santa Fe Art Institute for their “Truth & Reconciliation” artist residency in 2018.
