The Frog Prince of Spamalot
It's Not Easy Being Green

Frog-centric theater may have come to modern consensus with unlikely green MC Kermit the Frog’s “Muppet Show” during the 1970s, but this amphibian pond staple has played a pivotal role in comic theater since Greek playwright Aristophanes brought a chorus of croaks to Athenian audiences in the fifth century BCE. The VSA North Fourth Art Center continues this proud ranine tradition with The Frog Prince of Spamalot for one night only, this Saturday, May 4 at 6pm and a second showing at 7:30pm. Tickets for this all-ages show are $6. For more information see vsartsnm.org. (Clarke Condé)
